Undersheriff Colin P. B. Reagan was appointed Wyoming County Undersheriff on January 1, 2023 by Sheriff David P. Linder. Undersheriff Reagan has served with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office since 2005, and he also served on a part time basis with Warsaw Police Department and Perry Police Department. In his tenure with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, Undersheriff Reagan served as a Road Patrol Deputy, Road Patrol Sergeant, Field Training Deputy, and Field Training Supervisor. In addition to his road patrol duties, Undersheriff Reagan served the State of New York as a Drug Recognition Expert since 2013, and he was also certified as a Drug Recognition Expert Instructor in 2022. Undersheriff Reagan has received numerous awards throughout his tenure, including the Exceptional Service Award by Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse in 2008, two Mothers Against Drunk Driving [MADD] Individual Officer Recognition awards in 2008 and 2018, and Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Deputy of the Year for the year of 2012, awarded by then Wyoming County Sheriff Farris S. Heimann. Undersheriff Reagan attended Erie Community College in Orchard Park, NY where he graduated in 2004 with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies, and where he also achieved certification as a New York State Paramedic.
