The Wyoming County Traffic Safety Boards function and purpose is to promote and encourage highway traffic safety by formulating a county-wide highway safety program and coordination efforts with partner agencies. This is accomplished through the cooperation of local officials by a review of traffic related incidents, citizen concerns and analyzes of traffic safety data.
The membership shall consist of not less than ten members interested in traffic safety that shall be appointed by the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors in accordance with New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law Article 43. Members are volunteers and serve a three year term limit.
Meetings are held at 1pm on the third Thursday of March, June, and September, and first Thursday of December at the Wyoming County Public Safety Building, 151 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569.
