Key Dates

Taxable Status Date

March 1st is the deadline for all exemption applications. March 1st is a "hard" cutoff date. Meaning all applications must be in the Assessors Office no later than March 1st.

Tentative Assessment Roll Filed

Tentative Assessment Roll need to be filed by May 1st. Grievance Day (varies by Town) is between 4th Tuesday in May and 2nd Monday in June. This is the date the Board of Assessment Review meets. Grievance applications must be submitted to BAR prior to the close of this session.
