The Genesee - Orleans - Wyoming (GOW) Opiate Taskforce currently has over 150 members from across the three-county region representing local public/mental/human services municipal, substance abuse and recovery agencies, law enforcement & EMS, faith-based community, health systems, practitioners, education, concerned individuals, families and members of the business community.  The goal is to address the growing opioid crisis in the tri-county area.  Membership is open, all are invited to listen, participate and contribute.  Full Taskforce Meetings are quarterly and held at the Batavia Genesee Community College Campus.  Contact Kristine Voos, Epidemiology Coordinator, Genesee County Health Department (585-344-2800 x5497 or for more information.

The Genesee - Orleans - Wyoming Opioid Taskforce Steering Committee meets monthly and includes members from mental and public health agencies; treatment / recovery agencies and the Workgroup leaders.
