Adolescent Tobacco Use Prevention Act (ATUPA)

The ATUPA was enacted to help prevent the sale of tobacco and herbal cigarettes to adolescents under the age of 18.
Environmental Health investigates complaints and conducts compliance checks of tobacco retailers to reduce the use and accessibility of tobacco to youth under age 18 years of age.

Article 13-F Violations

The following establishments are in violation of Public Health Law, Article 13-F: Regulation of Tobacco Products and Herbal Cigarettes to Minors.  These violations occurred during compliance checks performed on 7/15/2021 when the sale of a tobacco product was made to an individual under the age of 21.
